Accudriver updates overview

Hello, our accurate drivers! There has been no news from us for a long time, and this is a great time to share some updates with you!

Last year accudriver hasn’t been in active development, but despite this fact, several significant changes have happened.

Mobile app

In November 2021, we published the first version of Accudriver on mobile devices. We support both Android and iOS devices. So far, the bet has been made on iOS users, and the number of active users on Apple devices is already more than a thousand. One of the main benefits of using the mobile version is comparing rules offline and using the app without the internet, which is crucial for travelers.

Features deprecation

Technically, the version of accudriver.io web application a year ago and now are two different apps. The main issue with the previous version is rendering on the client side, which is awful for search crawlers, but now our app is rendering on the server-side. From this change, we got great organic search results. Unfortunately, we haven’t migrated chat and user management from the previous version, which wasn’t too popular among our users. Also, the old app version is still available by this link show.accudriver.io, and we use it only for demos because the UX is much better on client-side rendering apps.

Localization

Great news for our Spanish, French, Italian, and German-speaking audience! We’ve started to support these languages in the web app and have a solid plan to continue to localize our app to other languages. For now, besides the English version, the German version is the most popular among our audience.

Organic traffic growth

These web application updates have helped to grow our audience by over 20 times, and this number continues to multiply. Thanks to our users for their trust. One interesting fact: Croatia, Luxembourg, and Cyprus are the three most popular countries to check traffic rules.

We are open to collaboration with automotive companies (such as rental cars or insurance companies), please send a message to contact@accudriver.io to get more information about this possibility.

Thank you for the time to read this article. We’ll try to share updates about Accudriver more often. Our team will continue accudriver support because our app solves a fundamental problem of lacking knowledge about traffic specifics abroad and helps thousands of users weekly.
