# Accudriver

> Accudriver is a European road-trip assistant for iOS and Android. It calculates total trip costs (fuel, tolls, vignettes), generates smart refueling plans that save up to €100 per trip, plans AI-generated itineraries with curated stops, and provides driving rules, fines and required equipment for 50+ European countries.

Accudriver helps drivers prepare for cross-border trips in Europe. The product is a mobile app; this website is the marketing and content surface — it lists the same country-by-country driving rules covered in the app, lets visitors compare two countries side-by-side, and points them to the App Store / Google Play download.

The same data underpins every surface: country rules, fines, equipment requirements, alcohol limits, vignette requirements, fuel prices, and route-based toll estimates.

## App features explained

- Trip cost calculator — adds fuel (current pump prices per country), tolls (estimated by route distance and country-specific per-km rates), and vignettes (countries that require them) into a single total before departure.
- Smart refueling plan — given a multi-country route, recommends the cheapest fuel stops and labels each border crossing as "Best price", "Needed for route", or "Skip". Typical savings: €25–€100 per long trip.
- AI road trip planner — generates a multi-day itinerary from a start point, duration and preferences (scenic, food, nature, cities), with stops, drive times, suggested overnight cities and detour costs.
- Country rules — speed limits (urban / rural / motorway), BAC limits per driver class, required equipment (warning triangle, hi-vis vest, etc.), dashcam and radar detector legality, headlight requirements, winter rules.
- Fines reference — country-specific fine ranges for common violations (speeding, dashcam possession, missing equipment).
- Offline mode — trips, rules and refueling plans remain available without internet.
