Privacy Policy

Effective: May 27, 2026

AccuSoft OU ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Accudriver mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

Anonymous Identifiers

We assign each user an anonymous identifier through our subscription management provider (RevenueCat). This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any personally identifiable information. We do not require account creation or login.

Usage Analytics

We use Amplitude, a third-party analytics service, to collect anonymized usage data to help us understand how users interact with the App and improve our services. This data may include feature interactions, trip parameters, and whether requests succeed or fail. All analytics data is fully anonymized and associated only with your anonymous identifier. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information through analytics. The information collected helps us identify which features are most valuable, diagnose technical issues, and continuously improve your experience with Accudriver.

Location Data

When you search for cities or enter trip origins/destinations, the search queries are sent to Mapbox for geocoding. We do not access or track your device's GPS location. The only location data we process is what you explicitly enter (city names and their coordinates).

Subscription Data

Subscription purchases are handled entirely by Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We receive only your anonymous subscription status (active/inactive) and the type of plan. We do not have access to your payment information.

Advertising Measurement

The App integrates the Meta (Facebook) Software Development Kit (SDK) so that we can measure the performance of install advertisements we run on Meta's platforms (Facebook, Instagram). The SDK logs standard app lifecycle events such as app install, app launch, and — where applicable — in-app subscription purchase. We have configured the SDK so that it does not collect Apple's IDFA on iOS, and we do not display the App Tracking Transparency prompt. Install attribution on iOS is handled exclusively through Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork framework. Events shared with Meta are tied only to an anonymous, SDK-generated device identifier and contain no name, email, phone number, or precise location.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide trip calculation, route planning, and driving rules services
  • Manage subscription access and enforce free-tier usage limits
  • Understand how features are used to improve the App
  • Diagnose technical issues and errors

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services that may process data on our behalf:

  • Mapbox – mapping, geocoding, and route display
  • RevenueCat – subscription and purchase management
  • Expo – app build and update framework
  • Amplitude – anonymized usage analytics and product insights
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook SDK) – mobile install measurement and ad attribution for campaigns we run on Facebook and Instagram

Each provider has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We encourage you to review them.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Your vehicle settings and language preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain our own database of user personal data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your information to third parties. Data is shared only with the third-party service providers listed above, solely for the purpose of operating the App.

6. Cookies

The App itself does not use cookies. Third-party libraries integrated into the App may use local storage or similar technologies for their own functionality.

7. App Tracking Transparency

Accudriver does not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising profiling, and we do not collect or share Apple's IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers). Because we do not access the IDFA, we do not display the App Tracking Transparency prompt. Anonymous, service-scoped identifiers used by our analytics and advertising-measurement SDKs (such as RevenueCat, Amplitude, and the Meta SDK) are limited to those services for the purposes described above and are not used to build cross-app advertising profiles of you. On iOS, install attribution is performed exclusively through Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork framework.

8. Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect the limited data we process. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Your Rights

Since we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is generally no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you have concerns about data associated with your anonymous identifier, contact us and we will assist you.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
